Dispatch is my favorite band, and i love all their albums and all their live stuff. Each album has it's own major sound, they progressed through the years. I personally think they got way better. I love the old acoustic stuff from silent steeples, and those songs are constantly playing on my ipod and cd player, and bang bang as well im in love with, but i think who are we living for just shows the true growth and development of their music. I love all the tracks on this album, there's nothing i skip, as i do with other albums at times.

I'm a bit more of a fan of their Bang Bang album, but this is plenty awesome itself. I'd probably have given it five stars if their other album (which I bought at the same time) wasn't so fantastic.

Before I begin I might mention that this band is by far my favorite band -ever. Why? Because every song they write is good and their songwriting skills are surpassingly diverse (as all three members write songs.) This album especially reflects that diversity as it encompasses that chill acoustic feel of their first album (Silent Steeples) along with the reggae feel of songs like Bats in the Belfry from their 2nd album (Bang Bang). This album adds along to it some straight rock and roll and funk with songs like Time Served that just scream i just listend to a Rage album 50 times in a row. Its quite simply endless good music. Buy it and enjoy.

This happens to be the record that each of the band members wanted to make ever since they were youngsters, by their own words. This band gives you such a look into their lives through their dvds that you feel like you know them. They are the kind of band that comes along once in a lifetime, and I'm glad I found them. This cd is superb from start to finish and I like that they covered a song from Rage Against The Machine, on this one and did it better than the original. I can't believe how awesome these guys are in EVERY cd/dvd that they did. As far as I know they are the only ones who have given 100% of their proceeds to their favorite charities from some shows, and will do so again in july at their Madison Square Garden shows. There is just magic when these guys get together. As they each have their own solo bands now, Dispatch remains one of the best bands I EVER heard, and I am among those who wish they would get back together again. If you can get to the Garden this summer, be sure to, as this show will be, the be all and end all of all of their shows, as they have sold out the Garden in a few hours for 3 shows in a row this summer. They also gave a FREE concert in Mass. and 110,000 people came. People just love this band , and I among them. I can't praise them highly enough. Leave this one in the player also!

For some reason, people do not view this as an essential Dispatch recording. This may be because of its evolved sounds, or simply because there is something a little different, but i can assure you that it is an amazing cd and that it is a great addition to any Dispatch fan. Once you weed through all of the instrumentals and jams that are present on this cd, some great dispatch songs emerge, ones that will yeild repeated listenes, and even enter some top fives.
Hidden away on this cd are the great tracks:
Open Up
Time Served
Lightning
Prince of Spades
Headlights
Gone(My favorite Dispatch Song)
Although this cd is not primarily acoustic like the previous two, this cd provides listen to the direction the band may have taken if they had stayed together longer. There is so much raw energy here, and is something no dispatch fan should miss out on. If you are just starting out, try Bang Bang as your introduction to Dispatch
