Great modern worship music out of Australia. 4 or 5 songs we have sung in the last year in church. I bought this song for the track "This Is Our God". We had a service at the local indoor stadium- about 15000 attended and 340+ received Christ. The alter call was after "This is Our God".... incredible lyrics in the chorus.

What keeps Hillsong songs sounding fresh is that there are so many talented artists that make up Hillsong. This brings in variety.
I feel that many songs in this album can carry its own weight and they sound different enough, sung by different artists that the album sounds fresh. I can't say the same about the newer albums, "Across the Earth: Tear Down the Walls" and "Faith+Hope+Love". They definitely have too much of Joel Houston stamp IMO and loses the freshness. I would rank this as my second fav Hillsong album. The top honor goes to Saviour King and in third is Mighty to Save.
My fav songs on this album are:
1. Your Name High - perfect opener, very energetic.
2. Desert Song - Brooke Fraser's song but sung both by Jill McCloghry and Brooke Fraser. Nice tag-team singing. Beautiful melody.
4. This is Our God - Cover track does not disappoint. Very subtle, soothing, and the refrain has beautiful melody.
5. He is Lord - Beautifully sung by Annie Garrat, great voice. I just love the powerful refrain and the message that Jesus is coming back.
9. You are here - This is a short song but Diane Zschech sings her heart (guts) out - Just watch the video.
16. With Everything - I love the build up to the chorus and the "oh ohhhhh" chorus :) Also the drums in the last refrain is insane. Great closer.
If you like the album, I want to recommend that you also get the DVD. It adds a new layer of appreciation to the listening (and viewing) experience and it's nice to put a face on each performer.

Most worship albums have only a couple songs that will outlast the CD itself. Not so with This Is Our God, which features several songs that will stay with us for several years. Run, Desert Song, the title track, High And Lifted Up, and of course, Healer. An excellent CD.
A note about Healer: God has a long history of using people with major flaws, even bad guys who acted for the wrong reason, to bring his Truth to us. If we can love Abraham for his faith to God (even if not for his faithfulness to his sister, er, wife) or David with his heart after God (and Bathsheba) can't we love Healer even if the writer is fallen? Do we throw out the Psalms that were written by a murderer and adulterer? Healer is a song that is clearly a powerful song anointed by God.

This is not the greatest hits of Hillsong but it should be titled that. I thouroughly enjoyed worshiping to this. I sometimes hate buying CD's because I only like a couple songs on it, but on this CD they all are great. This is a must have for people who love modern worhsip.

This CD met & exceeded my expectations of the Hillsong group. They were awesome as usual and touched my spirit with their lyrics like only few can. Worth the buy!
